Drummers Help for Fathers 80th Birthday - 2005/10/22 08:33 Hi Guys
This is an email I got from a Valerie Dennis, please have a read and let me know if you have any ideas. I suggested that maybe a couple ex-members wouldn't mind turning up and playing a few tunes. Just need volunteers, obviously I can't.

It will be my Father-in-Laws 80th Birthday in December. He served 20 years with the Coldstream Guards - 2nd Battalion corps drums. He started as a boy soldier and left as a Full Sergeant. He is unbelievably PROUD of his connection with the Guards. We are a very small family and are looking for ideas to make his 80th birthday extra special. Can you make any suggestions, so we can include the Coldstreams into our celebrations? Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards. Val.
