Former members of the 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards RE-UNION FRIDAY 29TH AND SATURDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER 2006
Recalled to the Colours all former members of the 2nd Battalion Coldstream Guards are cordially invited to dine together, (regardless of your vintage), along with your good ladies.
1. We will be holding a 2nd Battalion Re-union over the weekend of Friday 29th September and Saturday 30th September 2006. The weekend will consist of a buffet on the Friday and a formal dinner on the Saturday. The venue for the Re-union is:

3. Anyone wishing to join us just to socialise on either the Friday or Saturday (and not join in the buffet or sit down to dinner) are most welcome however we must know in advance so as to be able to advise the hotel on numbers attending. And there will be a small charge to cover the cost of room hire, bar extension and DJ etc. This will be £3.00 for Friday night and £5.50 for Saturday payable in advance.
4. Accommodation is limited, but is available on a first come first served basis at the following specially negotiated rates:
a. Single £45.00 per night.
b. Double/Twin £70.00 per night
c. Triple £80.00 per night.

In the event that all the rooms at the Earl of Doncaster become booked there are other hotels within a short distance. Details available on request.
5. The format for the weekend (apart from pulling up sandbags and swinging the lamp) will be:
FRIDAY
1900hrs - Meet and greet.
1930hrs - Buffet.
2000hrs onwards - Tell war stories. SATURDAY
1900hrs - Assemble in anteroom.
1930 - Dine
2230 - Disco and Raffle, etc, etc.
6. The order of dress is:
Friday - Smart casual.
Saturday - Black Tie/Lounge Suit. (Miniature medals optional
